Microsoft Presents...XBOX 360!

On what we think of it...
We have watched it on MTV and man, the design is incredible! It has been confirmed that these are the official design for Xbox 360. On what we've heard Microsoft had went through many designs before getting to this one.

The Wireless Connection
Xbox 360 has no controller connection port. It is completely wireless! Right now we don't know if it will be rechargable controller or battery run. The controller is white with an Xbox logo/circle in the middle.

The Navigation/Virtual Shop
As they had said on MTV, Xbox 360 will have a virtual shop where you can customize the Xbox navigation/character. Didn't get much on that, but seeing that menu of Xbox, it seems Xbox can download games and will have wireless internet connection to play with other players around the country.

The Design
Xbox 360 is sleeker, smaller, lighter than original. It is white with green colors, here is the design:


The Graphics
Oh Man! Did you see those graphics? The graphics were incredible, it's like an animation movie while gameplay. Great graphics! (it probably will be made better later) The graphics attract me into this. And I liked it! The Xbox 360 has incredible graphics better than today's It has surpassed all technology of gaming (of today's).

Backwards Compatibility
Xbox 360 will have a backwards compatibility and you'll be able to plug in your old Xbox controller in the back of the console (one port only).

Releasing November 2005
In almost finished production, Xbox 360 will be the first to come out before Sony's or Nintendo's (probably), expect it this holiday season!

They've already said it'll come out around my birthday wich it is nov. 7 so it'll be in nov. like he said and it will be the first to come out. But personaly I'm waiting for the PS3 and the Revolution.

I don't enjoy the Playstations as much as I do with the Xbox. I'm looking forward to it's release.

Woot for graphics!

The PS3's graphics are going to blow the 360 and the Revolution away. That's why I'm waiting for the PS3, plus I despise Microsoft.

Well, good luck to the PS3. The PS2's graphics lagged behind the Gamcube and the Xbox, but they might improve. Then again, the PS2 is the older system of the three.

I recently heard a rumor the Xbox 360 allows older Xbox games to be played on the 360 and improve the graphics all together, but it might just be an exaggerated rumor.

Yes. All systems will be backwards compatible with their older games. For example the PS3 will be backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games. The 360 is going to suck, just like it's predecessor did and the Revolution might pull through.

Judging from how weak the graphical prowess of the PS2, there's a really small chance the PS3's graphics are going to be better than the Revolution and the 360.

There's even a smaller chance the PS3's graphics is going to meet the competition. Especially since the Xbox's graphics exceeds the PS2's graphics now.

I highly doubt that the PS3's graphics is going to blow both the Revolution and the 360 away, judging from how it's doing now.

Sorry, but I'm a sucker for good graphics.

sony exagerates on telling the public how good it is, but i still perfer the PS

the revolution is the better of the three this years... But the ps3 will have better speed and more games and for the graphics of what I've seen I think both of them are equal.

Kikyou's Arrow, keep in mind that the PS2 was made 2 years earlier than the Xbox. Sony is more of a hardware company, while Microsoft is a software company. All Microsoft did was take a computer, throw it in a box and call it an Xbox. I have the specs of the PS3 and a system to system comparison of the 360 and PS3 if anyone would like to see them. Well, I'm done with my rant.

I already had that in mind, that's why I stated before the PS2 is the older of the 3 game systems.

Everyone has their own opinions and you happen to like Sony and the PS3. And again, I'm quite the sucker for graphics. To me, games consist of two things which make it appealing. The appearence and the mechanics. How it looks and how it works.

It's likely they can meet, but to me, I don't think PS3 going exceed the Xbox 360. And there's good games like Halo which keep me attached to the Xbox. I couldn't care less for the makers of them whether they are Sony or Microsoft. If it satifys my needs, then I'm fine. And if the Sony fits your needs, then I'm fine with that also. ^__^

You gave one example;Halo. The PS2 had loads of games. Some not too good, but Sony had way more games than the Xbox. To further prove my point of the PS3 outdoing the 360 here:360 vs. PS3

The controller freaked me out for a sec there...and I would have to agree with my friends on the other boards, it's hideous.

Let me get this straight. I heard from my cousin that the PS3 is going to have up to 7 ports. And in the link you gave me, pronounced it also. But why 7? Why not 6? Are you going to have 3 panels on each side of the T.V. screen and 1 down the middle? So much for sitting away from the T.V. to prevent serious eye injuries.

I like the console, but hate the controller.
