Inuyasha
Two years have passed since I first said I hated Kikyo and two years have passed since I lost Inuyasha and anyone else that was important to me. My name is Spaz and this is the story of how Kagome and I became best friends then things all got torn apart by Kikyo, Naraku, Kagura, and Kana. How things could have been better for me and Sesshomaru but I guess I’ll never know. Two long years of pain and thoughts of returning to the feudal era where everyone else had and will be. Only thing is I realized was that I could never return to there again. Not without Kagome. And Kagome was stuck there. Naraku and the others had gotten all but one shard. That one shard was the one that Kagome gave to me. But even with the shard I’ll never be able to go back. I’m sure they got some more shards but Kagome promised me that if she got a shard or any shards at all, she said she would come back for me. Two years I have waited so far. If I have to I’ll another four, just to able to see my sweet friends again.

I’m a 17-year old girl that goes Shikon High school in Japan. I had moved shortly after Kagome’s first trip to the feudal era. When I met her she seemed a bit freaked out by the fact that I was indeed a youkai. Only problem was I was not ment to be in the feudal era for some odd reason. It drove me and Kagome nuts whenever the two of us were together and she would go back to the feudal era. Every time she went there Inuyasha would always ask what other youkai she had been around. He was half demon in other words he was a hanyou. Youkai is full demon and hanyou is half demon. He is a dog hanyou. I am fox youkai. So every time little Shippo was around Kagome he would ask what other kitsune she was with when she was at her home. Kagome would always chuckle and then answer him in that innocent tone she has when she talks to a child. Shippo I’m guessing is now about twelve years old, and Kagome is like seventeen years old. If I keep thinking of it I might just end up taking a walk out to Kagome Higiurashi’s house and end up sitting in the shrine and staring down at the well. Staring blankly at the well with nothing to do but hope that one day I will return to see my friends and one day be able to use my youkai powers at their full. You see living in the modern time period is a lot of frustration. Even if you are a human. It’s harder for youkai and hanyou cuz they can’t use their skills to do anything unless they are in their own home. But so far I have never met another youkai living in this time era, only my self. So alone I will wait, wait for the one day my life will soon change.


Chapter 1
‘Two years.’ Thought Kagome as she followed Inuyasha, Miroku, Shippo, Kiara, and Sango along the path to Kaede’s village. She sighed heavily as she thought of the one person she left behind. One of her best friends and a youkai at that! A youkai in modern day Japan, and if that wasn’t enough this youkai lived almost a block away from her. It was always a blast when she went back to her time, if she could call it her time any more, she hadn’t been to her home in so long. She missed being able to go home and being able to sleep in for a while then end up going to school. She missed her cat, her mom, her grandpa, her brother, all of her friends, and oddly enough she was even starting to miss Hojo. ‘I hope she is okay.’ Thought Kagome again as her pace slowed down even more. Sango glanced behind her to Kagome. She stopped walking. “What is it Sango-Chan?” asked Miroku as he too stopped and looked behind himself. “Kagome-Chan? What is wrong?” asked Sango looking at her friend. “Miho. We left her behind. I need to find her…. she can help us beat Naraku.” Said Kagome as tears swelled up in her eyes. “Stop your crying you dam human wench!” said Inuyasha moodily. Kagome glared at him, “You can’t tell me to stop my dam whining when you miss her just as much as me.” Kagome shot back to him with an evil glare in her eyes. Miroku and Sango just backed up a couple steps and sat there watching the two of them fight. “They seem to be doing that a lot lately.” Said Shippo hopping onto Sango’s shoulder. “Shippo you know just as well as me and Sango that Inuyasha and Kagome are always fighting.” Said Miroku looking at the young fox demon. “I know but normally they don’t fight as bad as they are now.” Said Shippo concern creeping into his voice. Sango placed a hand on the little demons head and gently tried to calm him. “Yes they have and well its slightly frightening.” Said Sango. “I wonder when Miho will be back?” asked Miroku more to himself than to anyone else. Sango hit Miroku over the head with her boom-a-rang. “She will be back as soon as Kagome goes and gets her. And you know she doesn’t like you or want to bear your child.” Said Sango angrily. Miroku lay in a heap on the ground. “Okay.” He mumbled trying not to anger the girl any further. “INUYASHA!!” yelled Kagome as she looked at the dog hanyou fiercely. “What?!” asked Inuyasha looking back at Kagome angrily. “TAKE ME TO HER!” Said this mysterious voice loud and way over the yelling of Kagome and Inuyasha. “What in the below was that?” asked Inuyasha looking around at everyone his hand on the tetsiga. Kagome had a blank look on her face but it was when you looked into her eyes that you saw the real emotion.


“FEAR ME!” something yelled in Miho’s ear as she lay on her bed playing the play station. Dropping the controller off of her bed she got up and looked out of her window and into the nights sky. The light from the full moon shone down on the pond in her back yard as she looked at the deserted scenery. Everything seemed just like it did when she was in that time with them. ‘All of us together. Miroku fighting with Sango, Shippo and Kagome sitting there watching Koga and Inuyasha fight back and forth over who Kagome belonged to. I miss those times.’ Thought Miho.
Silently he watched the girl look around all of her backyard. “How much longer are we gonna be here?” asked a friend thing of his popping up from out of the shurb next to him. “Until I get her to come with us. Inuyasha needs our help. And Sina you know that.” The mysterious fox demon said.
Miho decided to walk out onto her porch and sit out there and let the light of the moon transform her out there in the fresh air instead of being in the house and getting all stuffy like. After she had been sitting out there for a while she had noticed two figures sitting in the shadows. Slamming her hands onto the porch railing she lifted herself up and jumped over the edge and landed onto the ground with grace…I might add.
“Sina we’ve been spotted.” Said the fox demon standing up and smiling. “So you stand up?” asked Sina rhetorically.
Miho glanced over at the figure standing up. “Who the below are you and what is a youkai like you doing here?” asked Miho now sensing his demonic powers. The figure laughed. “You are as feisty as Inuyasha had said you are.” Said the figure. “You know Inuyasha?” asked Miho momentarily shocked. “Yes, him and Kagome sent me here to find you and take you back with me.” Said the figure. “Okay that only answers what your doing here so can you tell me who you are?” asked Miho looking at him. He stepped into the light of the full moon. “My name is Karuza…or at least that is what they call me.” Said the figure. “So your just an entity?” asked Miho trying to figure it all out. “No, I am a real demon but in all of my years I have had different names and Karuza was the one that Inuyasha likes to use…. so that is what it has been.” Said Karuza his muscles casting shadows on his body as the moonlight hit his body. “So you were seriously sent by Inuyasha and Kagome. Prove it.” Said Miho not trusting the demon boy for one second. “Okay. Sina…please come out of the shrub.” Said Karuza. A little boy cat demon walked out from behind the shrub. “My name is Sina and I have come with Karuza-sama to deliver a message to you, Miho Nozaka…of Kagome Higurashi’s time. The legendary hanyou that was trapped in the world where humans dominate all.” Said the little demon. “Cute.” Said Miho not impressed. “She still doesn’t believe me Karuza.” Said Sina. “Here stubborn hanyou.” Said Karuza throwing a jewel shard at Miho. Catching the jewel shard Miho glanced at it. ‘Already purified. Kagome’s work.’ Thought Miho inspecting it further. “Kagome did purify it. Very well you’ve come to get me you say. Lets go then.” Said Miho as she slipped the shard into her pocket. “Smart little girl.” Said Karuza as he watched her walk back toward the house. “Not little.” Miho called out behind her. Karuza smiled as Miho jumped up and went back into her room and shut off all the lights. “Lets go!” she shouted as she jumped off the balcony/porch again and landed on the ground with a soft thud. “Sure your quiet getting down and out of the house but when your talking to me and Sina from up there you end up yelling to us.” Said Karuza looking at the girl with a small smile on his face. “Yeah so? Do you have a problem with that or something?” Miho asked looking at him with a playful grin spread across her face. “No problems.” Said Karuza pretending to be afraid of her. “Good. Cuz I don’t think you want to know what would happen to you if you did have a problem with that.” Said Miho acting all tough and mean. Karuza looked Miho in the eyes and the two of them burst out into hysterical fits of laughter. Karuza started to walk away still laughing at the way the two had acted and then he saw the girl fly past him. “So what, now are we playing?” asked Karuza looking after her. “You know it!” Miho shouted out to him rather playfully. Karuza looked down at Sina and smiled. “Well I guess we have no other choice but to go after her.” Said Karuza a smile appearing on his face that hadn’t been there for years. Sina had noticed the smile and started to go after the half fox demon girl hoping that Karuza would follow.
Karuza had followed the girl all the way to Kagome’s house and that’s when he noticed she stopped playing and being hyper. “Miho what is it?” he asked looking at her. “I’m going back there and I have a feeling that Naraku is still alive.” Said Miho. “He is. Miroku’s wind tunnel hasn’t gone.” Said Karuza. “So I’m going to help them stop Naraku.” Said Miho. “If you want to.” Said Karuza. “So lets hurry.” Said Miho looking behind her as she heard Kagome’s house door open. Karuza and Sina nodded as the three of them jumped into the well. Something had happened. Or something was happening.
As a bright blue light was reaching out for Miho Karuza jumped in front of her and grabbed her trying to pull her away from the blast. His plan had worked for the most part but they were both hit by the blast. A laugh rang out in their ears. “Who is that?” asked Miho her voice quiet as she looked up at the face of her protector. “Ka-Ka-Karuza!” Miho managed to get the words caught in her throat out as she looked into the eyes of the boy. His eyes were like….his eyes were empty. There was no soul behind them and it was like he had lost everything. Miho’s eyes filled with tears.

Chapter 2
That horrid laugh rang out in her ears as she sat on the ground, at the bottom of the dry well, holding him in her arms. The laughter ringing in her ears, the little demon child crawling around by her, her tears falling onto his chest. And then he touched her face.
She looked down at him, slightly startled but actually happy to see that he was alright. “Why are you crying for me Miho?” asked Karuza looking at her and smiling. His face was covered in dirt and so his smile looked funny as she looked at him. “I’m sick of people protecting me and getting hurt doing it. I mean I know your just taking me to Inuyasha and Kagome but even still I’m sure Inuyasha told you to protect me until I got to them. Am I right?” asked Miho holding back her tears better knowing now that he was awake. “No actually he didn’t. He just told me to get you here and that he would find you.” Said Karuza. “So then why did you protect me?” asked Miho looking down into his dark brown eyes. “Wouldn’t you protect someone?” asked Karuza. Miho looked away from him and to the ground. He crawled out of her arms and sat up. “It was just a question…you don’t have to answer.” He said trying to cheer her up. “Do you want me to go get you some food?” Miho asked changing the subject. “If you want to. Just don’t wander too far. I mean I’m sure you can handle yourself I just want to know that your safe.” Said Karuza smiling at her. Miho forced a smile on her face and then walked off.
Kagome and Sango walked behind the rest of the group, Kagome still a little mad at Inuyasha for what had happened earlier. Sango cast a glance at Kagome then up to Inuyasha who kept looking back to Kagome. Kagome was intent on not talking to Inuyasha till he took back everything he had said during the last couple of fights they had had. “Kagome!” yelled Inuyasha trying to get her attention. Kagome stopped in the middle of the trail and turned her back to Inuyasha. “Hmph.” She said crossing her arms over her chest, closing her eyes and sticking her nose up in the air. “FINE! Be like that you stupid human wench. I don’t even know WHY I tried to help anyway!” shouted Inuyasha turning away from her and stomping off in the opposite direction. Kagome opened one eye and looked after Inuyasha’s retreating form. ‘Help? What is he talking about? And why is he headed into Kikyo’s forest?’ thought Kagome trying not to think about the stubborn hanyou. “Inuyasha wait. Its not safe to go into the forest alone.” Miroku called out after him.
Miho came back by Karuza with some fruit. “Don’t eat it yet. It’s the fruit from a tree in this forest and well Kikyo ((no offense to anyone that likes her…. but)) has poisoned all of the food in the forest.” Said Miho taking the fruit. Karuza looked at her with a slight bit of fear in his eyes as he watched the girl perform some kind of magic on the poisoned fruit. “Miho…kid you’re a little nuts doing something like that.” Said a voice behind her. Karuza looked up behind her and saw when he saw whom it was he just smiled. Miho looked at Karuza then she looked over her right shoulder. “INUYASHA!” she yelled out as she dropped the food on her cloak and jumped on Inuyasha. Hugging the girl back and not being afraid to show that he was actually glad to see Miho. “Oh it’s been so long. Where is Kagome and the others?” asked Miho looking around in the forest to find them. Inuyasha looked at the ground. “Kagome, Sango, and that little rat of a fox Shippo are probably in Keade’s village by now.” Said Inuyasha. “Did you two get into a fight?” asked Miho looking Inuyasha in the eyes. “Well she started it.” Said Inuyasha defensively. Miho rolled her eyes and went back to unpoisening the fruit. Inuyasha glanced away for a moment then looked at Karuza. “What happened to you?” Inuyasha asked looking at Karuza more intently. Miho looked at Karuza then to Inuyasha. “That would be my fault Inuyasha-sama.” Said Miho looking at him. “Your fault? Miho don’t blame yourself for this. Something had attacked us when we were traveling through the portal to here.” Said Karuza taking one of the purified fruits from the pile. “What do you mean?” asked Inuyasha looking at the two of them. “Some strange voice was laughing and then this light attacked Miho. Karuza jumped in front of Miho to save her.” Said Sina looking at Inuyasha from his spot up in a tree. “Do you think it was Naraku?” asked Inuyasha more to himself than to Karuza but Karuza had over heard him and so had Miho. “No.” said Miho sternly. Both Karuza and Inuyasha looked at her with interest in their eyes. “It wasn’t Naraku. It was…someone else.” Said Miho trying to rack her brain for the memories of who it could be. Karuza watched her as she set the fruit down and got up. Inuyasha on the other hand had started to look around the forest. “You, Inuyasha, go fix things with Kagome. And Karuza stay still. I’m going to go get some herbs to heal those wounds.” Said Miho. Inuyasha looked down at Karuza who happened to be lying on the ground. Karuza looked up at Inuyasha and cocked an eyebrow. Miho started to walk off. “Miho. Get back here!” Karuza called out after her. “Not till I get those herbs. And Inuyasha GO FIX THINGS WITH KAGOME!!!!” yelled Miho. Inuyasha looked at the girl dumbfounded and then turned around and stomped off. Karuza got up and walked after her.
Kagome and Sango sat in the village hut by themselves drinking something and eating some food. “Hey!” yelled Miroku. Sango opened the door and looked out. Kagome peered out behind Sango. To Kagome’s surprise she saw Inuyasha following Miroku. Kagome turned around and looked away with her eyes closed. “Inuyasha wants to talk to you Kagome-chan.” Said Miroku trying to get the girl to look at him. “Why now? So he can yell some more?” asked Kagome looking Miroku straight in the eyes. “No. So I can fix things with you. For Miho. If I don’t she’ll hurt us all. Feh I can’t believe I just said any of that. That little demon wench doesn’t scare me.*looks at Kagome*Opps.” Said Inuyasha as he saw the dirty look he was getting from Kagome. “So this is your apology?” Kagome asked. “Sure, if you want to call it that.” Said Inuyasha trying not to anger the human girl any further. For fear of those two awful words still rang in his ears from the last time she had said it. “Very well. So when do we get to see Miho?” asked Kagome believing that Inuyasha had actually gotten Miho back. “She is in the forest getting herbs for Karuza’s wounds.” Said Miroku. “You sent Karuza to go get her?” asked Sango looking at Inuyasha. “Yeah. Why I don’t see the problem with that.”
Said Inuyasha as he looked from Sango’s face to Kagome’s.
“Karuza you’re not well. Go back and rest. I’ll take care of you.” Said Miho as she stopped and looked at him. “Why are you doing this?” asked Karuza. “What do you mean?” Miho asked looking at him with confusion in her eyes. “Inuyasha and the others told me about your attitude and how you had a short fuse like Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.” Said Karuza as he doubled over in pain. Miho ran to his side. “Karuza, you saved my life and now I’m going to help you. You’re a great demon and well I’m sure others will like to know you too.” Said Miho as she guided him to a tree. ‘Not really a nice demon. If you knew my past you sure as below wouldn’t be thinking that I’m such a nice guy.’ Thought Karuza as he allowed the girl to move his hair out of his eyes.
“Follow me.” Said Shippo leading Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, and Miroku to where Miho and Karuza’s sent trail was ending.

Cool!!! you finally got the next chapter! *cheers* It was a good one, It made me feel all, complete when I was reading about Miho looking for the herbs...

Inuyasha and the others got over by Miho and Karuza and all stood there stunned by the fact that Miho was indeed helping the injured fox demon out. “Karuza what happened?” asked Shippo jumping over to Miho and Karuza. “They were attacked.” Said Inuyasha casually. “Attacked? By what?” asked Kagome not being so casual about it. “I’m not sure.” Said Miho looking at Karuza. “Naraku maybe.” Said Shippo. Miho shook her head. “Not Naraku. I know his sent and it wasn’t his.” Said Karuza. “So if its not him don’t you think it was someone working for him to get the shards.” Said Kagome. “But why would they attack Miho and not find us directly.” Said Inuyasha placing a hand on the tetsiga’s hilt. “I’m not sure. Maybe they sensed the power from the shards that Miho and Karuza have and thought it was Kagome or you in the well.” Said Miroku a solemn look on his face. “Miho has both the shard pieces.” Said Karuza. “Okay that doesn’t really matter though because if the demon, we’re assuming it’s a demon, attacked you guys because it sensed the shards that will have nothing to do with the fact that Miho has both of them.” Said Miroku. “Its not a demon.” Said Miho. Everyone looked at her. “Well not really anyway. And it was after me. Which is why after I help bandage Karuza’s wounds I’m leaving. And don’t follow me.” Said Miho walking away. “Wha--?”Asked Kagome confused and stunned by Miho’s sudden acting like Inuyasha. “She’s acting like you Inuyasha.” Said Shippo. “She is not!” Inuyasha yelled back at the little fox demon. “Is too.” Said Sango. “Okay. Fine she’s acting like me. There are you two happy now.” Said Inuyasha crossing his arms over his chest and looking at the ground.
Miho found the herbs she was looking for and picked them up. “Tis a shame that all your power that your family has worked for to protect is now ancient history.” Said a voice coming from behind her. “No. I’m still here. So everything that my family has worked for is not in shame. Or whatever it is you think that they were for.” (That made no sense did it?) Said Miho picking the herbs and walking away. “Will you not join me?” the voice asked. “No.” said Miho still keeping her back turned to the person talking to her.
Inuyasha and Karuza were sitting silently while Kagome, Sango, Shippo, and Sina all played some sort of game. The little demons smiled as the two girls sat and played with them. “Inuyasha is it possible that Miho is the princess?” asked Karuza. “No way. The princess was human remember.” Said Inuyasha looking at the demon that looked odd with his many battle wounds.
“Miho join me. You know your powers are well worth it. Not to mention what good will traveling with a hanyou and a bunch of humans do for you.” Said the voice getting closer to Miho. Miho stopped and stood there. “Listen to me Yotoma, you know that I will never give up my powers to you or that dam bastard Naraku.” Said Miho continuing walking. “Who’s to say that you won’t.” said the voice. “Me. There is only one way to get me to join either one of you and that is to take over my body, but we all know that won’t happen now don’t we?” said Miho getting cocky towards the voice “How do you know if that’ll happen or not.” Said the voice with frustration coming into it. Miho smiled and just kept walking.
“Something is in the forest.” Said Inuyasha looking in the direction that Miho went in. Kagome looked up at him worry in her eyes. “Don’t worry.” Said Miho appearing out of the shrubs.

"It wasn't Shippo... I can sence the shards of the Shikon No Tamma..." Said Kagome, scared.

Chapter 4

Morning was coming slowly and sleep was not an easy option for Karuza. He kept thinking of the strange things that had happened since he left Naraku’s side. First he ran into Inuyasha and finally got to meet the one girl that he was told so much about, the priestess Kikyo’s reincarnation. Then of corse he thought that Kagome would be exactly like Kikyo, but getting to know her had taught him that she was nothing like the priestess Kikyo, only by looks. He met the demon hunter Sango the last of her tribe due to Naraku. Meeting Inuyasha made him realize how much damage and pain he had cost the world and himself. Now as he looked at the sleeping fox demon laying on the other side of the fire from him he remembered the reason he had gone to Naraku in the first place, the whole reason for his ever-attacking Inuyasha and the others. “Shana.” He mumbled turning over onto his other side so he would stop looking at Miho.
“This is the way home Karuza-sama. Trust me. We’ll have you fixed up in no time.” Said a beautiful young girl with long blonde hair and hazel brown eyes. Karuza was being carried by two or was it four older men. He was younger and looked adorable as all young boys do. “Lady Shana, don’t travel too far ahead.” Said one of the men that was carrying Karuza. “Okay Donga.” Said the girl her eyes looking at him. They all arrived at the strange and hidden village later on that day. Karuza had to be set into a tent to make sure he was going to be fine. Later that night, (he was sure it was night but then again he wasn’t too sure, he had slept so much that day after being brought back to this village) Shana, that girl, had snuck in there to see him. “I thought you had to stay home. Your becoming a priestess in the morning, Shana go back to your home.” Said Karuza sternly. “No. Not until I perform this.” Said Shana placing her hands on Karuza’s temples and closing her eyes. Shana started to chant something, something funny and Karuza had learned to suppress his laughter but soon he felt a little funny and the two of them were surrounded in a strange and mysterious light. He looked at the girl before him, her eyes still closed, she was still chanting something and then he noticed that she was aging. She had been turning into a teenager. Karuza looked down at his own body and saw that he too had been turned into a teenager. The girl stopped chanting took her hands off of his temples and opened her eyes. Shana smiled weakly at him. “Shana you do know that your mothers magic won’t work anymore to keep my demon form hidden from everyone else now that you’ve done this.” Said Karuza. “I know and I don’t care. Now it’ll be easier for you to get out of here.” She said looking at him and smiling. “But I’m supposed to get married to Natasha.” Said Karuza. “But you don’t even love her. Karuza-sama everyone can see that but her and her family.” Said Shana getting up and walking away. That was the last conversation he ever had with her. Because when the sun rose that morning Inuyasha had attacked. Or at least it looked and sounded like Inuyasha. That Inuyasha had slaughtered all the people in that village except Shana. Shana had ran, she ran with Karuza. But soon not even running could save her. Inuyasha had killed her too.
“Right there! I was right there. I could have saved her!” Karuza cried out anger in his voice and this is something he couldn’t control. Miho glanced over at him. ‘Her? Someone that means much to him. Well let us view his past.” Miho mumbled her voice barely above a whisper. Miho closed her eyes and started to say something when a shadow was cast over her. Miho opened one eye and looked up at Karuza. “Can I talk to you?” he asked a pleading look in his eyes. “Sure.” Miho whispered to him as she sat up. Karuza held his hand out to her. She placed her hand on his and got up (with his help. LOL!) And followed him to a place further off in the forest.
The sun rose that morning and Inuyasha was the first to be up other than Karuza and Miho. Inuyasha looked around to see if everyone was still there and he noticed that Miho and Karuza had both disappeared. “What in the below?” asked Inuyasha forgetting to keep his voice down so that he would not wake the others. Kagome and Sango jumped up startled to hear Inuyasha’s voice so early in the morning. “What is it?” asked Sango looking around and alert for any kind of danger. “Nothing just that dam wench fox demon girl and Karuza have both gone off somewhere.” Said Inuyasha looking Kagome and Sango in the eyes. “Oh.” Said Kagome her cheeks turning a little red with trying to keep the laughter in.
“Miho listen I wanted to let you know that I don’t want you to leave.” Said Karuza. Miho looked away from the sunrise and looked at Karuza. “What makes you think that you saying you don’t want me to leave is gonna make me stay?” asked Miho “Miho listen I wanted to let you know that I don’t want you to leave.” Said Karuza. The three of them now sat behind a bush watching Miho and Karuza. “How cute.” Sango whispered to Kagome. “How disgusting.” Inuyasha said. Kagome and Sango looked at Inuyasha flames in their eyes. “I’ll deal with this later.” Said Kagome turning her attention back to Miho and Karuza.
