The PMing system in itself is a privilege.

And the people advertising, most of them don't care if they're on this forum or not. They just want to advertise whatever it is they came here for.

Yes, it is a privledge, obviously. However, that in no way means that you need to be an ass about it. By taking it away all you're doing is pleasing yourself and your little pretend aristocratic lackies. Now this is simply my opinion, but a good admin looks out for all the members of his forum, regardless of thier current social status.

Thousands if not millions of boards easily deal with allowing the PM system to everyone, including new users. If you can't deal with it, then it really says something about your skills as an admin. This is directed at every admin, not just the de facto one.

This is an Inuyasha/Anime forum. Not your own person IM system. If all you want to do is use the PM system, do us a favour and get an IM and the person's screen name. You have been a member for almost a month and only have 3 posts that count in this forum. The rest are spam. Then you wouldn't be complaining as much.

You're seriously the first person who has ever had a major problem with this PM system. All others just ask why there is a limit, we give them the answer, and then that is the end of that. They then become a more active member on the forum.

None of the admins, especially Sylv is in no way being an 'ass' about this. I could say that you're the 'ass' for making such harsh comments about Sylv and about how "stupid" this rule is. Rather than bash members (which, btw goes against the forum rules) why not say something constructive about how you dislike the rule rather than complaining? Or deal with the situation at hand by doing the above...POSTING WHERE IT COUNTS.

I have not been here for a months, nor does it matter where I chose to post. Like most long time forum members, you have become pompous and arrogant. Even if I wasn't arguing sheerly out of principle (as I don't honestly care about the PM system), what right do you have to say that my opinion doesn't matter because I choose to use the forum differently than you?

That's because 90% of the members here are 12 to 14 year olds whome either have no back bone, or are just stupid.

Did I ever deny being an ass? The only way to counter asses is by being one. It's quite simple, and frankly it entertains me. I am only stating the main purpose of this forum...it is a forum about ANIME, originally Inuyasha. Not a "general-talk-to-your-friends-and-spam-the-place-24/7" forum. This goes to *ANYONE and EVERYONE*. I am only telling you, rather than complain in the manner that you are doing, to start posting. Attaining 40 posts is not that difficult.

I did not SAY that your opinion doesn't matter, of course it does. I just don't like the way you are going about it. You can be a little more civilized about it rather than add a few vague insults or sarcastic comments.

Also, I said *almost a month* March 28th will make it a month since you've joined. I'm only stating the fact that you've joined this forum only to chat with your family. From what I've seen, you have no interest in discussing anime. If you would like to discuss the other topics at hand that is perfectly fine.

The problem was solved, true, but with resistance on the other end. I am trying to quell that.
