Maybe he's 1/2 robot and 1/2 human (by the looks of it).

-his demon ears
-his fangs
-his demon claws

He doesn't have to have that. But he looks like half human, and half robot. I think what makes him look like a demon is his burned skin. I think its just that he died. Or lived in battle, and had his skin burned, and then they turned him into a robot. Thats the looks of it.

Inuyasha only has that because he is a DOG-demon. If Ginkotsu was a half-demon, he doesn't have those things because he is not of the dog demon race.

BTW, did anyone noticed the scar on his right arm?
The scar.. Yes he has somewhat over 18 stiches on it.
Maybe he got scratched by a sword.
Thats a maybe, but we won't know for sure.
