So I was watching Adult Swim yesterday and I found out that EVANGELION IS GOING TO RUN ON IT!!!
Seriously, this made my day. It's one of my first animes I've seen, and definetly my favorite. When Adult Swim first started, I said to myself, "Excellnt! If they can show Bebop, then it's Adult Swim's Manifest DESTINY to eventually show Evangelion!" And lo, THIS SHALL COME TO PASS!

*waves arms excitedly*

So yeah. Has anyone else heard of Evangelion? Or seen it? What do people think of this development?

yep i love this series.....last 2 episodes were weird though

Some people said they didn't like the last two episodes, but they're definetly some of my favorite. Much better than the first few. Tho those were great too, but in their own way.

They were supposed to explain what Shinji was thinking during the movie, and why he decided to do what he did.

I bought the whole colection of it...I can see why the producers got death threats after the series was done...

I *loved* the ending. If you watched Evangelion for the kewl bot fights and thought it was dumb how far they fleshed out the characters, I'm afraid you made a mistake.

BTW, the series has been going for awhile now. Have they finished it up, if not what ep. are they on? I never seem to catch it when it's on the air.

I've already seen all of Evangelion. Anime Crave had it up. It's way too old of an anime, for Japan anyway.

Don't get me wrong I liked the ending too but it was a bit out there... kinda like it didn't tell you much. Teh bpt fighting was kewl and all but I watched becuase I thought that It was INTERESTING and DIFFERENT. Thats why eva pwns. kinda. too many people say rahxphenon pwns more tho. In some ways they might be right.

Yep. Sure did. Great movie.

i love evangelon i watched and read every volume and episode. but when it came to the last two dvd's of the seires i stoped likeing it as mutch. the whole seirs was about shinji ikari to start liking his life and to stop thinking that everyone likes him just for being a eva piolite. it was quite weired.

is there only clip in adultswim, is there a full episode?

Only clips. You can get some torrents of it tho....
