Heh, totally.
But I'm gonna go out and say that racism itself is neither right nor wrong, and it's inevitable. I bet that everyone here is at least a tiny bit racist, weather or not they think a red-haired person is more likely to get angry at them, an asian person is more likely to do well at math, a black person more likely to be strong, or whatever. Stereotypes are how people make sense out of and analyze the world. Predjudices and racism are just basic expectations and patterns... applied to people.
'cept most people take offense to being catagorized because the western world cultivates a culture of extreme individualism. People really don't like to be catagorized by a group as large as their *race* (even nationality can be touchy).
So, yeah. I doubt our society as it is can avoid it for a *long* time. Maybe it'll always exist.
But I do think it's wrong when you start letting such premade expectations seep through and effect how you interact with people. That's when you start to offend them by identifying them with thier race.
Which is more than likely not a good thing.
