Abortion

Ok, I've given this some thought, here's what I decided: I believe that abortion is wrong. I think that people who do not want the child should put it up for adoption. However, there is one situation that might be acceptable(I'm still wrestling w/ this), and that is if the mother-to-be has AIDS, and has passed it to the child. What do you all think?

This was a nice compromise (SMILES) as for aids victims
(NEVER LET THEM HAVE SEX)

I'm going along with you two on this.

The thing is,most people w/ AIDS,don't know that they have it.So,they have sex anyway and don't know that they're passing that disease around.And then,that creates a chain of people who don't know that they have AIDS and then they have sex and it just passes that disease around.

I dunno, I think that just strikes me as rather... wrong.

I really don't see it's the goverment's buisness *AT ALL* to watch who does what between consenting adults. That's totally a human right's violation.

I'd still say no. When you make decisions like that, they pave the way to a more totalitarian goverment. It'd make america an overall worse place to live, in the long run.

Wait until there's a vaccine, or a way of destroying AIDS that insn't an invasion of privacy.

Should we punish the unborn baby then? If you ask *most* adopted children then would tell you they're glad thier mother gave them up for adoption and didn't kill them off. I have a few adopted friends and they're good kids. They tell me about how thier mother loved them so much that she gave her up so she could live a happy life. also Orpanages aren't crowded. Heck we like don't have them anymore. We have foster homes. Usually they're lines of people who want a baby and only select few get them. So you see these girls who abuse thier abilities to have children don't think about people who want a child but can't have one. The best thing to do in this situation is have the child and then give it up to a good family. Abortion isn't the way except perhaps to the 1% who gets it done because they were raped.

I say,the American disease researchers get their sorry butts up and find a cure for AIDS!And also,we should stop killing innocent unborn children!
