I have always been against it ever since I can remember hearing about it. I don't like the fact that you're killing a person that could have been.

Think about it! One of those aborted babies could have found the cure of cancer or something else great!

^^ Yes yes, but as long as we're speculating, the fetus could have been the next jack the ripper or Hitler. And I'm willing to speculate that knowing your mom didn't want you (adoption) or were raised poorly (mom wasn't ready for kids), tips the scales in the direction of the fetus turning into a bad person significantly.

Also, it sounds like half of you want the baby to be like a punishment to "sluts." I don't know about that, because that would ruin the mom's life by forcing her to raise a kid she can't. And the very idea of brining a new life into the world to punish someone... sounds really messed up. Children shouldn't be a punishment.

I've told my reason as to why I don't like abortion.I don't think that you should get one just because you went out and did something stupid.I hate seeing things die(exceptions are wild game-not all,leave some alive).

She doesn't have to be forced to raise her child. Adoption is always avaliable.

Yah there's no point in her raising the baby if she won't raise it correctly or even if she's not ready. The soon-to-be-mothers should just put their child up for adoption.

Killing the kid is not necessary. There's probably like a 0.9999% chance that someone TRULY needs an abortion.

I think abortion is wrong, just as wrong as it is to chuck someone out the window. Abortion would kill a life, as would throwing someone out the window.....just because the baby isnt completely a "human" yet, doesnt mean it wouldn't have a life. dunno if that makes sense, but w/e....

Well, I don't really think kids are adopted *that* easily. If they were, there wouldn't be orphanages.

Plus, when you add up all those abortions... it'd be no good for overpopulation at all. We're straining at our edges already.

Exactly ^ (about the orphanage being full and all).

So you see the dilemma. This is what makes abortion, well I wouldn't say good, but sometimes necessary. And then I get into exactly what I said in my posts before...so we're in a cycle.

It once again, all depends on the situation and the people.

I say this,if you did something stupid and you got pregnant,you can get the child adopted(I know,that has already been said).There are plenty of people who are unable to have children that would like to have one.The best way,adoption.That way,no child is being killed(unless a pyschopath adopts the child).
