Abortion

I agree with the things that have been said mostly by KA, and pretty much everything that KE has said. Therefore instead of repeating the same opinions, I'll just add some facts.
There are lists that people wait on to adopt a child for years to get a child.
Less than 1% of abortions performed are due to rape induced pregnancy or incestual relations.
this would mean that 99% are merely from people who didnt use protection.
The moment that the sperm reaches the egg, it changes into a distinct creature. it is no longer technically part of the mothers body, as anything that is part of your body has the same DNA as you do. Since the moment that the egg meets the sperm it spawns a new set of DNA, this means that at no time is it a 'part of her body'.
Also, if you do not wish to get pregnant, a female can have her tubes tied, and a male can get a Vasectomy so he cannot impregnate a female.

I just don't agree with abortion.Killing somethings innocent just seems wrong to me.

I think if you're 15 and get pregnant,you should suffer your consequence of mothering a child.You did it,you should live with your consequences.I rest my case,FOR NOW.

I don't support abortion when a woman irresponsibly fools around and doesn't clean up her own actions. Abortion is just an easy way out for woman who are irresponsible. I completely agree with you KA.

Abortion is good depending on the situation the girl is in. For the irresponsible girls, abortion should NOT be allowed. If they really can't take care of the baby, then they should just put it up for adoption. I mean either way, the child will have some emotion problems when they are older.

For rape victims, abortion should be an option. I'm not saying that they SHOULD abort the child immediately because if the girl is truly caring, she can still raise the child with the most love she can give to that child to protect it from the rest of the world.

But the whole idea of abortion is a very touchy subject and I believe that it shouldn't be banned anywhere. It should only be available to certain people who believe its the best possible thing for them.

I know I come off as cold.. but I think of myself as level headed. I don't let the ethics of "it's a human thing" into my arguement. It WILL be a human, but isn't. And it's thus not really murder or anything. By beliveing it already is a human makes you think "oh no, you're killing a baby", but really you're not..
Also.. Michigan girl... do you eat pork? Or chicken? If so.. why? You're eating dead animals, which is just as bad as killing your kitty, dog, or child for food... see my point? Abortion isn't ethically wrong in my book. And if girls have the money to get an abortion after having sloppy sex.. let em! power to them, I don't care if they're irresponsible enough to get pregnent. If they're irresponsible like that what's to say they wouldn't be irresponsible with their unborn baby, in such a way that it comes out effed up... or have it in a bathroom then bury it or something. I'd much rather be aboted when I wasn't even aware of conciousness than to be a mutant or to be killed then buried...

And I do have feelings.. I infact like a girl, enjoy friendship, dislike things, enjoy things, etc.

He proves a really valid point. It is "just a human life" and that we kill animals and eat them or hang them as trophies (why as trophies, i will never know..) so it is all the same.

BUT: The whole act of sex (other than the pleasure part) is about survival. You have sex to reproduce and continue the human race, or more so, to continue your family tree.

So if you would like to think in "technical" terms, babies should not be aborted because they are produced to continue the human race.

Heartless? Nah! Some ppl(like the ones who call you heartless) just can't handle the uglier facts of life. They go w/ the saying, "Hear no evil, speak no evil". In other words, if they don't talk about it, it doesn't exist. You know what I mean?

I don't think people "have sex to reproduce and continue the human race." True, that's the most obvious conclusion, but... what about sex for pleasure? How is that so wrong?

Saying that is wrong is like saying, "we have feet to walk, and nothing else. Using them to operate a drum set or the pedals of a car is wrong."

Sex for pleasure isn't wrong. It's just wrong when people don't take responsiblity for the consquences it might bring and just taking the "easy" way out.

Okay then,now you people are making a bit of sense to me.My friend at school is pregnant(she's my age).She's going to KEEP her baby.I'm going to help her with it(I'm a God Sister).

I'm just sorry,I can't stand to see little children(especially babies),die.I just can't stand it.That's why I don't like abortion.
