This FanFic is about a character I made for InuYasha... there will be more chapters if asked. ^.~ Please let me know what you think!

I have made 2 version of the first Chapter... this is the second version I lowered the 'Said' and 'Asked', but in order for everyone to tell who is talking I made a Color code. ^^

Chapter 1 - Entering Keyara! The Half-Dog Demon!

60 years in the past lived a 6 year old girl named Keyara. Keyara was a nice person and she didn't hurt anyone... but, there was something strange about this young girl... she was a hlaf-demon. She had long white hair that reached the middle of her back with a pair of white dog ears on the top, yellow colored eyes, and she had long, sharp nails like a dog. Though she stayed in this form most of the time she could take on two other forms, one that made her weak, and one that made her stronger. Everytime Keyara became angry she would transform into a full demon, like her father. Though she didn't look like he did when so she still had the same blood. Her pupils became blue and the rest of her eye became red, her fangs got much bigger and shapper as well, and her nails did the same as well. Though she can't help it, she intends to hurt more then she wants, but most of the time she can control it. Now when she becomes weak she turns into a full mortal like her mother. Every new moon her white long hair becomes black and she looses her dog ears on top of her head, her eyes turn a crystal blue color, and her long nails and fangs turn normal. By the time the sun comes up after a new moon she turns back into her normal self.

Because of the type of creature she is people didn't like her, they treated her poorly and didn't care how she felt about all of it. Keyara knew she had to deal with it, but she didn't know how. Later on when Keyara was 6 years old her mother was killed by ungreatful humans. She walked into her house that day to find her mother on the floor covered in her own blood, dead. She was so devistated to see this, she didn't know what to think or even what to do, but she knew she had to do something. She decided to run away and take care of herself. A year later she recieved a sword which glowed when she was going to use special attacks, this sword made her stronger when protecting herself. Each year as she got older she grew stronger and stronger and she learned to help protect humans from evil demons that might be terrorizing their village. She soon turned 16 years old and was still helping humans though she still hated them for what they did.

50 years later, Keyara was 66 years old yet she still looked like a 16 year old for some unknown reason. Everyday the same thoughts ran through her head, Why did it have to happen? How come things had to be that was...? She could never get the thought that people killed her mother and that they hated her as well.

One day Keyara sat on a tree branch not too far into the forest it was in. One of her legs was on the branch while the other hung off, her arms were crossed, and her eyes were closed making it look like she was sleeping. In the field by the forest sat a half-demon named InuYasha, a mortal named Kagome, Sango the Demon Slayer, and a Monk named Miroku. Along with them were two full demons, Shippo and Kilala.

Keyara opened her eyes and looked forward, but was looking at nothing. I suppose I am not alone... She thought sensing the others. InuYasha who had his eyes closed opened them and looked back at the forest.

Kagome looked at InuYasha will a confused face, "Is there something wrong, InuYasha?"
Miroku glanced over at the forest InuYasha was looking at, "Yeah, we're not alone".
Kagome looked even more confused, "What do you mean we're not alone?".
"It means that there is someone other then us here."
InuYasha stood up and walked in the direction of the forest.
"Be careful, InuYasha! You don't know who this person is or how powerful they are!"
"I think I know what i'm doing, Kagome" InuYasha hissed.

InuYasha walked into the forest and took out his Tetsusaiga and was prepared to attack anyone or anything. InuYasha had reached the point where he could be seen, but Keyara couldn't which made it easier for her. A half demon... this should be interesting... Before InuYasha could see her she released her sword white started glow and she jumped out of the tree and hit the ground as her as she could with her sword. A bright flash came at InuYasha who tryed to block it with the Tetsusaiga, but the light pushed him back and he landed by his friends.

"What was that?!"
"I'm not sure, but whatever it was it's stronger then my Tetsusaiga" InuYasha said quickly standing up.
In the clouds there was a black figure walking towards them. When she reached the end of the clouds she walked out and they disappeared.
"Who are you!" InuYasha demanded while raising his voice and pointing his sword at Keyara.
"My name is Keyara and there is no reason to feel threatened by me" She grinned.
"We don't know that! How do we know we can trust you" InuYasha raised his voice once again.
"Because when it comes to things like this I don't lie" Keyara lost her grin and she returned her sword.
"InuYasha I think we can trust her"
"Hmph" InuYasha returned his sword as well.

"May I ask something? Are you all after Naraku?"
"Yes, we are... he has the jewel shards"
"That's the reason I am after him... the Shekon Jewel is almost full and someone gave it to him"
"Maybe you could help us out... we can use another demons help. Is that alright with you InuYasha?"
"Hmph, Whatever" InuYasha had a careless voice and didn't look at the girl.
"Well, you heard him! Are you going to join us or what?"
"I am definitly in!"

Keyara went and sat with the others, waiting for their journey to begin.

OOOOOOOOOO! That was good, I want to read the next chapter The girl,
Keyara, is sooo much like Inuyasha (since I think you meant it that way). I think I like her as my favourite girl character She's a cool female version of him.

Thanks! Keyara is suppose to be like InuYasha though they aren't related it's like they should be... I Role Play with her a lot and I will be doing the next chapter soon... coming up with who we should meet and how everything should turn out and stuff.

Yay alright! and make this chapter longer and try not to cut off suspense things like they do it in the real episodes

Oh, you mean like InuYasha's temper problem? Lol. I thought about putting it, but I changed my mind and I will make it as long as I can... and I will make sure to make it just like the episodes. ^^

yeah, have inuyasha's temper problem, that'll make it funny. Nooo..your making it jsut like the episodes ..i'll be fine with it ifyou make the next episode very fast

With the idea we came up with I do not think it will go so fast... I might be working on it for the rest of my time on and tomorrow. ^^

Yeah! Second chapter is now done... if you want the color code it is at the top! ^^ Sorry if it goes quick. o.o I worked on it yesterday night and today so it shouldn't. BTW, something odd is going on... the curses which is 'Below' and 'Dam' are being taked out and being replaced with those words! Don't know how it is happening... but you guys have to deal with it.

Chapter 2 - Terror of the Dragon Demon!

"You know, your life seems a lot like InuYasha's"
"Yes, it is very suprising you two aren't related"
"This is the very first time I have ever met him so I can't be"
"What I want to know is why the below you were out here"
"I came out here before I even knew there was other people here"
"Yeah, whatever"
"Is he always like this?"
"Acually yes, he is and joining us means you will have to deal with it too"
Keyara crossed her arms, "Yeah? But, not when I get done with him"
"What's that suppose to mean?!"
"Calm down, I meant nothing of it"
"So tell me Keyara, you are a half demon correct?"
"Yes, I am" Keyara stared straight at Miroku.
"Does special things happen to you at special times?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"What I mean is do you turn full human and full demon at times? Now I know this type of thing should stay a secret, but I promise no harm will come upon you"
"Acually I do, there are special times where I transform"
"That doesn't suprise me" Miroku glanced at InuYasha.
InuYasha listened closely to the conversation, but his back was turned to them, his legs were crossed, his arms were crossed, and his eyes were closed.
"Do you mind telling me when these times are?"
"Uh... I guess so. When turning into my human form it has to be a New Moon... I become just like a normal mortal if you know what I mean. When it comes to becoming a Full Demon I either have to become very angry or I am close to death"
So there is one thing different between me and her... I have to loose contact with my sword to become full demon and anger doesn't help me tranform either... InuYasha thought hearing what Keyara had said about her transformations.
"So does that help any? Is there a special reason you wanted to know?"
"Nothing important" Miroku glanced at InuYasha once more.

They all continued talking about random stuff and InuYasha acted like himself and didn't talk unless Shippo got on his nerves at least. When he did of course InuYasha would push him down to the ground and chase him and of course everyone laughed and thought they were just being so imature. Soon they all fell asleep in the grass where they stayed all night long... soon after it was morning.

Keyara leaned up and yawned as well did everyone else. Keyara stood up and stretched.

"How did everyone sleep?"
"I slept fine" Almost everyone said instead of InuYasha who didn't speak a word.
"So where to next?"
"It seems that we start walking I guess"
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go then!"

The gang started their journey they walked through the grass and there was no scent of demons just flowers that were all around them.

"Do you even know where we are going?"
"How the below should I know we are going to find Naraku"
"Well you don't have to get rude about it"
"Shouldn't you know me by now Shippo!"
Shippo sweatdropped, "I guess InuYasha will never change"
"I am also curious where the next stop will be"
"We will find out soon"

They all kept walking and no one talked as no scent filled the air. It was fresh air and the day was nice, it was like nothing could go wrong until that day started to turn upside down. The sky started to turn black and it was getting slightly windy.

"What's going on!?"
"A demon..."
"dam it! I don't feel like dealing with one right now!"
"Well, too bad! We have to get rid of it"
"Well, first we have to be able to see it!"

Soon a black creature came down from the sky and it was huge! It had long arms and sharp claws, as well as teeth. It had huge wings and it was much bigger then all of them.

"Is... that a....?"
"It's a Dragon Demon!"

It was a Dragon Demon very big and very powerful someone that could be hard to defeat. His name was Buroderikku and he seemed to come at the wrong time. He had feirce eyes they were blood red and his teeth were huge, everyone knew that this was going to be a challenge.

"I can take him!" InuYasha stepped forward and pointed the Tetsusaiga at the Demon.
"InuYasha! You can't take him all alone!"
"Oh yeah? Watch me!" InuYasha ran at the Dragon with the Tetsusaiga in the air.
They all watched as InuYasha tryed attacking Buroderikku, but it just didn't seem to effect then InuYasha was hit by the Demon and he went flying into a tree.

"dam it!"
"InuYasha!" Kagome's eyes started to fill with tears, "InuYasha!!"
"InuYasha! Are you alright?!"

InuYasha rose to his feet, but had trouble standing, but he managed to anyway. Kagome had no choice, but to run over to him on her way the Demon decided to attack. He was about to bring his huge claw down on Kagome.

"Kagome, watch out!"
InuYasha saw what was about to happen and he ran over and pushed her out of the way, letting the giant claw land on him. Kagome on the ground opened her eyes and looked at the claw.

"Oh No! InuYasha!"

The claw rose and InuYasha was hit straight into the ground and it was hard for him to move.

Oh No. Keyara thought looking at InuYasha and then the Demon.
"I'll finish this! Wind Tunnel!" Miroku released his wind tunnel, but it had no effect. He had the feeling something struck him and he landed on his knees.
"Miroku!"

Now Miroku and InuYasha were hurt and it was up to Keyara. Keyara stared at him and he stared back showing he was going to attack her soon.

What should I do? How should I attack...
Keyara kept staring at the Demon wondering how she should attack and she took out her sword.
"What the below does she thinks she's doing?" InuYasha was in pain.
"I don't know, I think she is going to attack"
"What are you doing!? Your going to get yourself killed!"
Keyara stared at InuYasha, but ingnored that because she had to do something for their sake. Soon her sword started to glow like when she went to attack InuYasha before she knew he was not going to hurt her. Though this time it was much brighter and it glew red instead of white. It came from the anger inside of her heart though she did not turn full demon.

Look at her sword... where is she getting so much power?
Keyara lifted her sword and charged at the Demon with terrific speed.
"It's time to finish you!" Keyara jumped in the air and slashed down the head and the whole body until she reached the ground, and she stepped back until she was in the right distance.
"What? That didn't help at all!"

Soon the Dragon looked odd and soon it just exploded and it rained blood for a minuted and prts began to fall as well. Keyara had slashed the demon with her red glowing sword and now they had nothing else to stand in their way.

"How the below did you manage to do that?"
"I have power, InuYasha"
"Well at least we don't have a demon in our way anymore"
"Yeah, your right so we should get going"
"Master InuYasha!" Myoga jumped on InuYasha's face and started to drink his blood.
InuYasha whacked him as usual and let him fall into his hand, "Yeah? What is it?"
"I saw the whole thing!"
"Really? I'm suprised normally you would run away"
"I wanted to see who this girl was"
Keyara walked over to InuYasha and she was covered in the demon's blood.
"Are you alright?"
"I couldn't be better" InuYasha crossed his arms.
"Uh, right"
"What about you? Miroku and Kagome."
"I'm fine" Miroku stood up.
"I'm perfectly fine too. I'm just glad that demon is dead"
"Yeah, me too"
"How did you come up with so much power?"
"The power is in my sword, InuYasha"
"I could see that"
"Well, we should be going"
"Your right, we don't want to wait for another demon to come and then hold us up again"

Keyara and the rest continued to walk and soon after the sky went from black to blue like it should be. The journey had begun again and they all were off waiting for the next suprise to happen.

Ohhhhhhhhh!!!! Cool!! I can't wait till you get our next chapter This is like a new version of Inuyasha! with a girl heroine!!

Here is chapter 3. There is not much fighting because it explains about this one day with Keyara's past. It's something I came up with awhile ago and thought I should write it as one of the chapters. Hope you like! And when I looked at it, it seemed pretty short. I think I left out too much info. o.o

Chapter 3 - The Unforgetable Day.

It was the day after they fought the Dragon Demon and everything seemed fine at the moment. Keyara was being really quiet for an unknow reason. Every since she woke up in the morning she wouldn't talk to no one even if they tried to talk to her. She sat in a tree in the forest that was next to the field Inuyasha and the others were resting at. She sat the same way she did when they first found her, though this time she had an upset face.

"What's wrong with her?"
"She has been this way all morning"
"I hope she's ok"
"Yeah, she doesn't look very happy"

Little did the know this was a very upsetting day for Keyara and it has been ever since she was little. It was the one day that she couldn't help, but to think of the past. Though she could never cry, she would be very sad, but it never brong tears. Anger normally filled up inside her, how ungreatful everything was back then.

Kagome started to get worried, she got up and walked over to the tree Keyara was in. Keyara sense her presance and she opened one eye which stared at Kagome.

"Hey"
"Hi..."
"Are you Ok?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I don't know.. your just acting weird. Will you please come sit with us? Everyone is starting to get pretty worried about you.."
"I guess"

Keyara jumped out of the tree and went over to sit with the others, but she didn't say anything. She just sat there and ignored everyone.

"Are you sure your ok?"
"Yup, i'm perfectly fine"
"Well you sure don't act like it"

Keyara could only sigh, "Everything for me is confusing right now. This day just reminds me of too much, it's a long story..."
"Might as well tell it, we're not going anywhere"
"Fine.."
"Come join us InuYasha! Keyara is about to tell us a story!"

Inuyasha was also in a tree, but no where near where Keyara was sitting. Something from his past also reminded him of this day. He just couldn't figure it out. He knew it was horrible so he didn't dare to think about it. He heard Kagome's call and opened his eyes and jumped out of the tree and sat with them, but he didn't say anything.

"Alright, we are all here and listening, go ahead.."
"Ok, back when I was really little..." she started to tell her story.

{The Past}

Little Keyara had just walked out of her house. She looked the same execpt shorter, no sword, and younger looking. No humans were out so it was a good time for her to go outside. She lived in a house not too far down from InuYasha's though she never saw him nor heard of him. Little Keyara walked through the villiage and watched for any humans or demons, which none were out yet. She walked down the dirt path of the forest like she did everyday. She heard a noise coming from behind her and she saw the kids that picked on her everyday and of course they ran straight to her, but she ran as well. She ran into the forest and went behind a tree so no one could see her and luckily no one did. She climbed the tree and sat in it watching the kids look for her, but they didn't have any luck.

"Why do they treat me like this? What did I ever do to them?" Said said quietly to herself so they couldn't hear her.

Her mother told her awhile ago when they started picking on her that it was because she was one of the ones that was half a demon. She couldn't understand what that meant seeing how she was only 6 years old. Her mother explained to her that she was half a human and half a demon, and the villiangers nor the demons didn't like that. She was different and couldn't help it and everyone hated her for such a stupid reason.

"Where could she be hiding?" One of the kids said glancing around trying to find the small girl who was terrified of them.
"What can't they just leave me alone, I don't want to deal with this anymore.."

Soon a young boy named InuYasha came outside to play, he looked like her twin, but she never seen this boy before. She didn't notice him seeing how she was trying to avoid the humans. InuYasha was pushed around and finally she heard someone running in the direction of her tree. It was InuYasha. He was running from the kids too. Finally Keyara heard something, it was InuYasha who was at the bottom of the tree. She stared at him and everything confused her, he was just like her.

This boy, looks just like me...

Keyara accidently snapped a tree branch which caught InuYasha's attention. He looked up to find the girl in the tree. He stepped back a little bit because she looked like a normal demon which frightened him seeing how all demons tried to hurt him.

"Who.. are you?"
"My name is Ke-Ke" Keyara's mother always called her that so that is what she said her name was.

Soon they both became friends and they would deal with both the humans and demons together. They never got severly hurt, but Keyara would always go home with a cut. At the end of the day they both would come home. Soon the day that she would never forget came. That one terrifying day that scared her life forever. Keyara as usual went out of the house and of course InuYasha was waiting and then the humans came out. They both were at the top of a cliff and the kids were right there, the ones that always wouldn't leave them alone. Soon Keyara got sick of it. The one that caused trouble the most went home crying with three long cuts that were bleeding badly and a black eye. Keyara got sick of it, she was the one who caused him this pain, but she didn't think anything bad would come of it. The other kids were terrified and ran to the other kids house to make sure he was ok, but Keyara's brave act was the last thing InuYasha saw her do.

Later that day she went home to fine the one thing that made that day horrible, her mother was dead. She doesn't know what happened or how it happened, but it did. Her mother was covered in her own puddle of blood and a knife right next to her. Someone murdered her mother and she didn't know why, and she couldn't do anything about it. This hurt her so much she didn't know what to do or who to go to seeing how everyone hated her. She ran out of the house and looked for a way to go. InuYasha peeked out of where he was staying and he saw Keyara run away and that was the last time anyone was her.

{The Present}

"So, that's what happened, that's why I am so upset today"
Inuyasha was really suprised at what she said because he couldn't even remember her.
"You acually did know Inuyasha.."
"I guess I did, but after a few years of trying to forget the past, I forgot only some of it"
"Then how did you know that you met Inuyasha?"
"I guess it just came to me when telling the story.."
"Inuyasha, do you remember any of this?"
"Not really.."
"I didn't think you would, seeing how it was awhile ago"
"And the point you said you name was Ke-Ke, which probably threw Inuyasha off the most"
"We all are very sorry to hear that, and you don't even know why or who killed your mother"
"I think I know who"
"Huh? You do"
"Yeah, remember when I said that I hurt that kid?"
"Yes.."
"Well I have a feeling it was his parents or anyone he could run to. Seeing how all the humans there hated me there was no doubt that they are the ones who did it. I hurt their child and they get payback for killing her"
"Who knew humans could be so rude.."
"Well, that was then and this is now. Things have changed and seeing how me and Inuyasha have helped out the humans they learned to like us"
"I'm suprised you didn't go after them because of what they did"
"Well, I don't know where any of them are now and when I was little I couldn't do anything because I had no clue what happened"

Inuyasha stayed quiet most of the time, he didn't say anything because he was too busy thinking about what Keyara had said about the past they had. Nothing seemed right, it was all confusing, but it had to be the truth seeing how it triggered something in his mind.

The rest of the night was silent and no one said anything further. This was just something everyone had to forget because it was over with. But will Keyara ever forget it?
