Okay I have decided to pursue a fan fic of Inuyasha that I had begun a few months ago...I don't have a title for it, but I will eventually.
This is just a sneak peak until I start to write out the rest. I don't know entirely where the story will go from what I have, but I will have something planned out, and will continue writing it during summer, because right now I am too busy.

Here it is:
Darkness has fallen in the feudal era. A blazing campfire has been set inside a cave. A young figure stands on a rock outside the cave where his comrades lay sound asleep. The crackling of the flames, and the rushing of the river makes him feel at rest. Gazing into the night sky, filled with millions of stars, Inuyasha has a look of sadness.
“Why…?” A worried Inuyasha whispered to himself.
“Inuyasha?” Out comes Kagome, a young teenager, tapping Inuyasha’s shoulders. He continues to look out into nothing.
“Why are you out here all alone so late? I thought you were sleeping.”
“Oh.umm, it is nothing Kagome. I.I just couldn’t sleep. You go back to sleep, you look very tired.” Without a single glance at Kagome, Inuyasha sits cross-legged on the rock. Kagome decides she should stay with him. He’s been through so much in just a short while. Poor Inuyasha…I wish there was something I could do.
Kagome finds a comfortable spot behind him and lays a comforting hand on his shoulder. “Inuyasha, I know you must be feeling terrible right now. It wasn't your fault that those people died. You couldn’t help the transformation.” Inuyasha remained silent, “At least you destroyed that demon, right?” Kagome said with a touch of hope in her voice. Still Kagome knew that Inuyasha had once again slaughtered more humans. This time Inuyasha slaughtered innocent humans, almost an entire village.
Kagome began to worry about Inuyasha. She believed that Inuyasha’s demon blood wouldn’t take over him anymore, since he had mastered the “Backlash Wave” technique with Tetsusiga, his powerful sword. Now these transformations were worse than before. It seemed to take Inuyasha much more time to calm himself down after his demon blood took over. Even Kagome’s “sit” command would not return him to normal. The two just sat there; Inuyasha continued to watch the sky in sadness, as the worried Kagome comforted him. She could feel Inuyasha’s aura was thinning. He seemed to be so down. He needed someone to help him. To care for him. She wrapped her arms around his neck in a reassuring hug.
“Please. Be okay. I am here with you, as always. We can help overcome this battle Inuyasha. I know we can.” Kagome whispered softly into his ears. Not to long after these words, Kagome felt something drop onto her hand. A tear? Kagome wondered. HIS tear? Tears started streaming down Inuyasha’s heartbreaking face.
“Kagome,” He whispered, “I’m so scared.” Kagome looked shocked. She had never witnessed Inuyasha cry, let alone say, that he was scared.
“I don’t want to be this way. I don’t want to kill anymore. I..” His words became lost. He was shaking in Kagome’s arms. Practically collapsing, Inuyasha now lay there on Kagome’s lap. Afraid of killing all that he cared, killing the innocent, losing himself, and worst of all, killing Kagome.
Not knowing what to say in such times, Kagome just sat there, as Inuyasha wept, stroking his head. She had to hold back her tears. She couldn’t stand seeing Inuyasha so distressed. I must stay strong, for Inuyasha. The 2 just sat there the whole night, without saying another word.
